A Grade One Music Show
A Salute to America
Message to the Grade One Parents
Dear Grade One Parents,
On Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 9:30 am, the Grade One Students will be presenting, A Salute America, Memorial School’s annual music show. The rain date is Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the same time. The performance will be held in the small field in back of the library near the ball field and along the music room windows. Please bring a comfortable chair to sit on. A show flyer, program and show location and child find map are linked below. Please print the documents out if you wish to take them with you.
The group will be singing 10 songs, which are either uplifting or honoring an American symbol or our great Nation. Of the 10 songs, eight will be sung by individual classes and two will be sung by the entire first grade.
On that day, please have your child(ren) wear patriotic colors or something that shows an American symbol, such as the American Flag, the Liberty Bell, the Statue of Liberty or the Bald Eagle. If your child does not have clothing with patriotic colors or clothing that depicts an American symbol, any color will do. Please do not buy anything new.
Please note, your best photo opportunity will be when your child(ren)’s class comes forward to sing their special song. Please refer to the program, so you know when your child(ren)’s class is singing.
